Resetting your VPS Password

To reset your VPS Root/Administrator Password you must first head to the VPS Panel Page and look for the server you wish to do the reset for and select "Manage", you will be brought to the page where you can manage the server.

Once brought to the Management page for your server you will then head to the "Options" page, there you will look for "Root/Administrator Password" and click the "Reset Password".

This action will set a new root or administrator password. If the QEMU guest agent is not installed on your server, or if it has been removed, this operation will fail. The server must be running for this action to be performed.

Then a pop-up will show up where you have a drop-down and you have two options which are explained below.

Reset Password for Windows

Choose Administrator as the user.

After resetting the password, the new password will sent to your account email address. (check your Inbox and/or Spam folder)

Reset Password for Linux

Choose root as the user or your non-sudo user.

After resetting the password, the new password will sent to your account email address. (check your Inbox and/or Spam folder)

Then you will receive a notif at the top of your page stating the password was reset successfully and has been sent to your email.
